About the Atltadena Subdivision Trustees
As provided by the Indenture, Altadena Subdivision is governed by a five (5) member group of Trustees. The Trustees are elected directly by the property owners of the Subdivision. The Indenture outlines very specific procedures and regulations under which the Board must operate. University Park Subdivison's Board of Trustees' foremost responsibility is to uphold the Indenture to preserve the integrity of our community.
The Board’s foremost responsibility is to uphold the Indenture to preserve the integrity of our community. Working under the constraints of the Indenture, the Trustees oversee the overall maintenance and upkeep of the Subdivision. As representatives from the University Park Subdivision community, the Board works in close contact with University City officials to ensure their responsibilities are met in our Subdivision.
Specific responsibilities of the Trustees include:
- Reviewing and approving/denying construction plans for structures in the Subdivision
including fences, decks, additions or new homes
- Maintaining common grounds throughout the subdivision
- Enforcing the provisions of the indenture
